As a joint initiative of RMIT Enabling Capability Platform, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the European project GEO-SAFE (Geospatial based Environment for Optimisation Systems Addressing Fire Emergencies), the following workshop is coming up:

Towards Ecological Bushfire Management Models
12-14 of November 2018, RMIT University City Campus (rooms  080.04.19, 20, 21)

The Workshop will focus on three topics:

  • Ecological consequences of fire and alternative practices
  • Ecological data mining
  • Ecological and ecosystem perspective in model-based bushfire management
