Getting to the Conference from your hotel

The RMIT city campus where ACEI2018 is being hosted is conveniently located on the edge of the Melbourne CBD. The main conference venue is the Swanston Academic Building located at 445 Swanston Street, Melbourne.

The Swanston Academic Building is within walking distance for hotels located centrally in the CBD area. For specific distances and directions from the recommended hotels see information under Accommodation or check with your preferred hotel.

Alternatively many delegates may prefer to catch a tram. The front door to the Swanston Academic Building is located approximately 50 metres from the last stop on the free tram zone (PDF) heading north along Swanston Street. Delegates taking the free tram along Swanston Street are advised to get off at stop 8, near the front of the State Library and Melbourne Central at the corner of Swanston and La Trobe Streets. From here the Swanston Academic Building is a short walk along Swanston Street on the right hand side of the street.
