The goal of the RMIT Blockchain Innovation Hub is to develop a world-leading interdisciplinary research team focused on the economic, cultural and social implications and impacts of blockchain technologies. Our research interests include cryptoeconomics, institutional cryptoeconomics, the interplay between blockchains and civil liberties, the economics of protocols and ledgers, the political economy of the blockchain, the role of tokens in trust systems and markets, democratic and political applications of blockchain technologies, and understanding the social and philosophical implications of blockchain applications.
