Collaborations between RMIT and Cranfield University

A strategic meeting was held to work on research collaborations between Cranfield University, UK and RMIT University.

Sir Peter Gregson, Chief Executive and Vice Chancellor of Cranfield University and Martin Bean CBE, Vice-Chancellor and President of RMIT University participated to the meeting.

Transport safety/accident investigation, Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and autonomous operations were identified as key areas of focus for both teaching and research collaborations.

A number of possibilities including student exchange programs aiming at making best use of labs/facilities at both universities, joint PhD programs and co-supervision roles are currently explored.
