Multi-cloud computing is the new normal in IT. Now, industry fervor is brewing around the next generation of cloud infrastructure-serverless computing and it could be seen that there are no signs say that the momentum toward adopting serverless computing is going to end soon. In the recent survey released by The New Stack, half of the IT executives say they are already running with serverless architecture and approximately 28% intend to do so in the next 18 months.

Despite having some significant values in its speed and pay-as-you-go business model, serverless application do not eliminate the app security and creating headaches such as installing security updates and maintaining networking hardware.

Some of the top serverless vendors that are preferred by IT companies are AWS Lambda (71%), AmazonCloudWatch(61%) and Azure Functions (43%). For CSIT graduates, it will be very advantageous if you could grab your head around at least of this cloud technology when you are still in university.
