RMITOpt Workshop 2017
Translation of impact in the Optimisation Discipline
The Australian Research Council has recently made available guidelines for research assessment that include a strong inclination towards prioritising research that can be translated into valuable benefits to society. The objective of this workshop is to motivate the discussion around how research in the Optimisation discipline can be translated into meaningful impact in real-world problems, by showcasing successful initiatives that rely on optimisation-based solutions.
Please join us in this workshop for an opportunity to listen to presentations from members of industry and academia, share ideas, and enjoy plenty of opportunities for networking.
This event is free and was made possible by Enabling Capability Platforms funding initiative. RSVP is required due to limited number of seats. Please RSVP by 20/01/2017 (Fri COB). The link for registration is available here.
