Ten RMIT photography staff and alumni are finalists in the 2023 Bowness Photography Prize
The Bowness Photography Prize is “Australia’s most important photography prize”, organized by Museum of Australian Photography. In 2023, ten of the 66 finalists are either alumni or staff at RMIT School of Art. The finalists were chosen from over 640 entries by award-winning artist Michael Cook, Rhana Devenport ONZM (Director of the Art Gallery of South Australia), and MAPh Director Anouska Phizacklea.
Finalist works will be exhibited at the Museum of Australian Photography Thursday 21 September – Sunday 12 November 2023 and the Prize will be announced Thursday 28 September 2023.
