TurningPoint Student Response Software

TurningPoint student response software contract has been extended for a further 6 months until the 2nd January 2019.
During this time, academics who currently have TurningPoint quizzes and polls embedded in their powerpoint course material can continue to use TurningPoint.
Keypads or ‘clickers’ can be borrowed through the library in Bundoora. However, as they are now end of life, the batteries and units are not being replaced.
The latest version of TurningPoint allows the use of an app installed on student mobile devices. Any existing course material with TurningPoint slides should continue to work using this method.
As we only have 35 licenses currently, if you are planning to use TurningPoint in semester 2, please check that you can login and run your quiz.  If you are unable to log in and you wish to use TurningPoint in semester 2, please let us know immediately so we can organise to have a license applied to your name.
Also, if you know you used a TurningPoint license in semester 1 but won’t be in semester 2, please let us know so we can re-allocate your license to someone else who requests it for semester 2.
A recording of a demonstration of this functionality can be found here.
TurningPoint user guides are also available here.
During semester 2, ITS will work with stakeholders across the university to determine a suitable polling tool that can replace TurningPoint that allows enterprise licenses with central administration.
