Mathpix Snip allows users to convert simple screenshots, handwritten or typed, of mathematical formula into LaTeX codes. Users can choose their preferred LaTeX code format and perform additional editing. It is available for Mac, Windows and Ubuntu system.
Using Mathpix is simple. Once installed, open the tool. You’ll find it in the top panel. You can start taking the screenshot with Mathpix using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Alt+M.
The image above of the Mathpix interface shows the conversion from screenshot to LaTex code and the ability to also copy a PNG of the equation which you can paste into PowerPoint/Word or upload to Canvas.
