Creating Screencasts with a DIY Desktop Camera

The LE team have been receiving a number of responses from staff wanting to show off their DIY fixes since the following recent posts on SISTER for:

Nicolas Menicucci, School of Science, has created a DIY desktop camera from an old cardboard box, some toothpicks, blu tack , a light and some white paper. Nicolas captures his calculations and instructions to the students using his iPhone which he mirrors to his PC.  Using Canvas Studio screencasting app he creates key concept videos that are uploaded to Canvas for his students. Watch the video below for Nicolas’ tips on creating a similar setup for your students.
