RMIT Photography are delighted to have confirmed JUSTIN RIDLER as a speaker on our Open Day alumni panel 12:30 Sunday 13 August in Building 2, Level 2, Room 8.
He is an exemplary example of a commercial photographer working with emergent imaging technologies and he has an insightful perspective to the future of work for photographers in the 21st century.
“Justin Ridler is an image-maker creating work at the intersection between the virtual & physical. By integrating traditional photographic methods and merging them with cutting-edge new technologies in computer-generated imaging, motion capture, animation and XR, Justin can craft his work with no boundaries. He collaborates with choreographers, artists, art institutions, and fashion houses using these new workflows. Justin is a contributor to VOGUE and has worked with clients such as Off White, Dior, Prada, Vogue [US, AU, CHINA], i-D. He has exhibited in NYC, Sydney & his hometown Melbourne where he is currently based.”
