Partnering with RMIT Social Work
The RMIT Social Work Field Education program is based on the reciprocal relationship with agencies and includes benefits for agencies who supervise our students in field education. For hosting a student on placement, your agency would be eligible for: free professional development workshops; invitations to RMIT University seminars; research/evaluation opportunities; guest lectures and teaching opportunities. RMIT Social Work has partnered with a number of agencies on an on-going basis. The partnership model developed in response to the contextual crisis in field education that has occurred over many years, evolves and adapts to changing needs of placement provision. If your agency decides to partner with RMIT Social Work, your agency would also be eligible for:
- Tailored and/or onsite training opportunities for staff
- Membership of the Partnership Reference Group
- Industry scholarship opportunities
- Joint research and projects (refer to two books developed with partners)
