The CPS research group hosted this visit and the tour of the lab facilities focussed on the avionics and Air Traffic Management (ATM) systems, which include immersive ATM tower and flight simulators, tactical ATM workstations and a variety of related research equipment and instrumentation. The ICAS president praised the ATCS for their strong contributions to avionics and ATM systems research in Australia and globally.

On Monday 9th April, the president of the International Council of the Aeronautical Sciences (ICAS), Ms Susan Ying, visited the Aerospace Intelligent and Autonomous Systems laboratory in RMIT Bundoora East campus.
