THE MAGICAL JOURNEY: CORAL AND PHOENIX is a fictional story about the magical adventure journeys of Princess Coral and Phoenix. The five metre long mixed media painting is divided into twelve storylines. The stories reference Western and Eastern myths, religious stories, historical figures, physics and philosophy.

This narrative painting depicts the battle of light and darkness in the Antonian era. In the Antonian era, when different races fought against each other, a dark force was spreading from the core of the earth. Unexplained dark purple flowers suddenly appear on the land, and the dark spores produced by the doomed flowers cloud the mental health of various creatures. This terrifying power has plunged the races of the land into crisis, for years without the means to cure the sickness and wipe out the flower of darkness.

In order to save the creatures swallowed by the darkness, Amphitrite, Queen of the sea, discovered the Iridescent Goethite among the white iron stones in the seabed, she tried to inject her power into iridescent goethite, and Princess Coral was born. Princess Coral possesses the magic to heal all ailments and she has inherited Amphitrite’s kindness and wisdom. Subsequently, the appearance of a silver-white peacock changed her fate, and they embarked on adventures together. Their magical journeys brought about huge changes in the Antonian era.
