This project seeks to explore life through painting. This project also seeks to explore painting through life.
Through this project, I create abstract paintings based on the motif of gardens to explore my life in relation to ways of seeing and the understanding of painting. The project uses saturated colours, composition, gesture, multiple viewpoints, layered images, and flatness to investigate possibility of painting. I propose that painting allows us to enter new worlds that are beyond reality and ideals.
