EUDAEMONIA: A rebellious approach to expanded painting
Osborne-Snell’s practice encompasses functional art displayed on the body as well as textile wall pieces. His emphasis on unconventional, wearable art creates multidisciplinary parallels between art, fashion and design. Snell works with a punk-like attitude explaining why the traditional form of painting cannot handle his expression. He uses thread as a painter would use a paintbrush. He creates marks with the use of a sewing machine through the means of embroidery.
