THE BODY MALLEABLE questions fixity and conventions of form through investigating the malleability, materiality and opportunity of the body. Through a process of self-reflexivity I navigate the sensate physicality of embodiment and create modes of extension through material, replication and abstraction.

The obsessive archiving and imaging of my body through material formats offers more to the index, providing views of the body through every inch of its fragmented pieces. Through the intersection of my roles as artist, subject and material, I navigate a tangled web of agency and identity and negotiate the boundaries of self and nonself. This project visualises encounters with my body as a meeting point between self and medium, the experience of embodiment and the tangible, malleable materiality of my body.
