Serenity in Opulence

In our society, many people spend money on things that are intended to provide them with a sense of identity. Their goal is to gain attention from family and friends, or to gain recognition from wealth and power. It is the purpose of this research project to uncover the deeper reasons why people continue to purchase items that they do not really need. The importance of distinguishing between our needs and our wants cannot be overstated.

I am doing the work to talk about how people feel healing when they are buying stuff of high class, how they want the identity of the higher part of society. Before I was think what object can make people think about healing, and I chose bandage to try the form, I made the form like a ring shape, and the idea is from the Chinese wedding ceremony, the bride wears lots of gold bracelet, the family want people know they are rich, they have power and money, that’s the reason most people keep buying high class brand, the identity are very important for them.

It is the intention of this project to evoke a sense of peace among viewers through the incorporation of luxury elements. If one examines the details closely, one can understand why craftsmanship elevates the price of a product, making it both delicate and exclusive. A balance between materialism and minimalism, where true meaning in life can be found, reveals what society values.

A product’s of craftsmanship plays a crucial role in shaping consumer perceptions by showcasing the skills and artistry involved in its production. It is common for consumers to perceive a product as being more valuable and prestigious when meticulous attention to detail is evident and high-quality materials are used. This enhances the product’s status, increases its desirability, and justifies its higher price. We are also reminded of the intricate relationship between luxury, craftsmanship, and identity.
