My art practice is closely connected to my life experiences, and this year, I focused on my relationship with my mother as a central theme. I explored the patterns of our communication and how our bond shifted due to the long distance between Hong Kong and Melbourne. The transformation of clay in my work reflects the dynamic interplay between control and letting go, reflecting the shifting dynamics of the mother-daughter relationship.
