Echoes of Color.

My work explores the subtle ways in which color affects human emotion and perception through the unique lustre and texture of enamel.

The texture of enamel mimics the delicacy of porcelain and the lustre of gemstones, bridging the gap between visual art and sensory experience. By studying the subtle ways in which color evokes memories and emotions, I hope to create works that deeply engage the viewer.

I draw inspiration from traditional Chinese architectural motifs, reinterpreting culturally significant patterns in a modern form. Repetition and distortion create interconnected structures that echo the organic growth and architectural symmetry of these historical motifs. My work invites reflection on how color and form interact to create spaces where personal emotions and cultural narratives resonate.

Through the interplay of color and pattern, my work becomes a dialogue between material, form and emotion, inviting the viewer to contemplate the ways in which color shapes one’s own inner landscape.
