Fault Lines is a reflection on the ways in which objects and memories intertwine, becoming a vessel for communication and stimulating recollection. Guided by ideas of post-memory and solastalgia, this series explores the fragility of one’s memory as it ages—an ode to my grandmother’s experience of Alzheimer’s Disease. Each piece resembles incompleteness, becoming a metaphor for the dots no longer connected. This series is a deeply personal reflection and material inquiry into what remains once a memory fades.

My practice has explored the emotional resonance of heirloom jewellery and the lingering presence of the past through heirloom objects. Reflecting on the tension between longing and loss, with a focus on how memory inhabits the objects we hold closest.
