WITHIN COMFORT is an ethereal and poetic textile-based installation that reflects on the dialogue between self and the immaterial. This work is grounded in emotion and personal experiences of finding comfort in familiar spaces, where materials engage with presence and connection. Within Comfort (2025) invites encounters with the intangible nature of emotion, fostering both personal and collective resonance. Composed of fabrics and found objects, each carrying its own aura and history, Within Comfort (2025) creates a space where the immaterial takes shape, becoming a gesture of attention and care. Through meditative processes, personal experiences and emotions are processed, allowing the work to engage with presence and affect while offering moments of reflection, intimacy and connection with both material and self.
Sienna Pavlovski’s practice is grounded in material exploration and emotion, investigating how textiles and found objects carry an aura of reflection, memory and connection. She uses these materials and processes to translate feeling into form, creating works that act as extensions of personal reflection and the digestion of experience. Her work exists between the intimate and the collective, inviting both herself and viewers to experience the often intangible relationship between self, object and place.
