Thani Fee is a multi disciplinary artist based in Naarm (Melbourne), originally from the north west coast of Tasmania. Working within the expanded field her process driven practice is instinct-led and materially engaged. Drawing from abstract expressionism, she works through gesture, texture and physicality to transmute emotion into form.
Thani responds to the turbulence of the world around her- reflecting on themes of conflict, survival and renewal. Guided by experimentation and reflection, her practice becomes both inquiry and release, where intuition and material interplay shape meaning. Her works explore tension and transformation, navigating the space between chaos and calm, destruction and rebirth.
Through this visceral and contemplative approach, Thani seeks transcendence- striving for clarity, connection and something beyond.
