YOU COULD JUST NOT THINK ABOUT IT FOR FIVE YEARS

I am interested in the melding of bodies, surgery, the sharing of fluids, and how printmaking practices can be used to explore this. Drawing upon past medical experiences, I want to explore how the body can change in the medical environment, and how this can leave an impact. As well as this, I want to explore the fluidity of the body, and the frustrations that come with how arbitrarily differences are assigned to us. Drawing upon illustrative practices, my work uses screen-print alongside physical sculpture to provide a place for transformation and reflection, a place for the viewer to finally Think About It.
