Bio Statement:
As an international student from China, I decided to study in Australia, starting my journey as an overseas student in high school. After completing my Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Business, I pursued a Master’s degree in Arts Management. My involvement in fashion and arts management has equipped me with a range of skills and has enabled me to understand creative industries globally. I am passionate about sharing cultures and leading through creativity, particularly focusing on the relationship between art, fashion, and management on a global scale.
Abstract:
The study explores how art management is involved in art therapy, mainly to address issues of mental health. The text covers why it is important to apply arts management skills and knowledge in organising and maintaining art therapy programs in healthcare and community environments. It is clear from the study that having culturally sensitive and inclusive programs depends on careful planning, space design, and proper training for employees. It also considers how the use of digital technologies can benefit individuals who are unable to attend therapy in person and to update with younger generations, such as Gen Z, who have experienced greater mental health difficulties than previous generations. By using digital tools, virtual reality (VR), and training therapists to continue updating their skills. The goal of this research is to share valuable insights into creating digital art therapy programs and explore how arts management can enhance the process and outcomes.
