Sisyphean Circle: A paper-cut and shadow-puppet installation crafted through precision laser-cutting techniques, critiquing the cyclical fate of patriarchy
This work employs paper-cutting, shadow play and collage. By combining traditional artistic methods with the spatial arrangement of contemporary art installations, the project critically explores the cycles of gender expectations ingrained in Chinese folk culture and how this internalizes misogyny in women’s relationships.
