Minh Khoa Tran- As time goes by (the forgotten shoe) – 2022 resize

The projects were based on the Vanitas painting style and Memento Mori phrase “Remember you will die.” Flowers and memorial items form the fundamental elements of these works. I used flowers to convey peace and timeless meaning. These items evoke memories and affinity. In the pictures, all the subjects are placed chaotically, but they are as intended. Each detail contributes an important meaning to the whole picture. In the big picture, the arrangement is harmonized and balanced, which is why I have named the project series Beautiful Chaos. The series represents different topics that are related to my life, culture, and perceptions, which are part of my imagination world as an international student from Vietnam living in Melbourne.
