Brutalist Melbourne: This project explores the sculptural force and cultural legacy of Brutalist architecture in Melbourne. Through photographic documentation, I seek to visually illustrate the raw geometries, material weight, and spatial ideologies embedded in these concrete forms. Brutalism—often dismissed as cold or oppressive—emerges here as both artifact and argument: a material response to post-war optimism, civic ambition, and utopian design. These structures do not whisper; they assert. They mark a time when architecture believed in permanence and purpose.
