PATTERN OVERLOAD

Frequently inspired by optical, fractal, modular, and psychedelic art, I create colourful pattern-based works that merge organic and geometric formations. I primarily work with mirror panels and coloured vinyl to create an array of modular and rhythmic formations that shift and expand the viewer’s perception. My visual language is built from repeated forms and structures, often drawn by hand before being digitally replicated and cut onto vinyl, then applied to mirrored surfaces. These evolving configurations are continuously reshaped and expanded, eventually becoming immersive, reflective installations that invite audience interaction and participation. By abstracting real-world references (whether drawn from nature, architecture, textiles, or everyday observation) I explore the balance between reality and imagination. The resulting patterns often resemble optical illusions, transforming the artwork into a spatial entity where the viewer, pattern, and environment merge into a dynamic, living composition.
