NO THROUGH ROAD: THE DEAD ENDS OF MEMORY LANE explores themes of memory, place, and the complex evolving relationship between physical environments and emotional attachment. Using cropped imagery of Australian scenes, specifically from Adelaide and Melbourne neighbourhoods, the miniature landscapes evoke intimate glimpses into suburban spaces and moments suspended in time. Power lines, road signs, and details of family homes depict scenes that at once feel familiar yet unrecognisable.

Georgina Repo primarily paints in oil on miniature wooden panels and creates intricately crafted small objects and handmade sketchbooks, occasionally working in other mediums including pencil, acrylic, and watercolour. Her work observes the unnoticed: the quiet stillness that exists within the ordinary, the subtle softness of memory, and the transience of time. Her works form a muffled conversation that notices, contemplates and reflects, in glimpses, moments and fragments.
