AM I ENOUGH? is a personal expression of emotion, identity, and societal reflection. The portrayal of athletic body ideals as symbols of masculine health is often amplified by social media and Hollywood stars resorting to extreme measures for their roles. This fuels unrealistic body expectations and mental health struggles. The gym culture fixates on physical transformation and can be harmful, projecting an unattainable body image. This project challenges conventional masculinity, promoting self-reflection and digging into the complex link between body dysmorphia, self-esteem, and societal pressures. Ultimately, it aims to foster discussions beyond gender and relate to our human nature. In my work, I blend traditional printmaking with digital techniques to challenge conventions, redefine masculinity, and explore human movement and material.
