THE ISOLATED EYE.
My practice is focused on the use of landscapes and the natural environments to capture isolation in places that I find myself exploring regularly. More specifically, places within nature that give me a sense of peace and isolation to escape the overwhelming and continuous stress and busyness of life.
I have always found myself getting drawn to the natural environment of the world, travelling quite often while growing up. This opened up my eyes to the untouched world and the wonders and serenity in which it provides to the heart and soul.
Throughout my time in this course, I have found a way to incorporate the natural world into my works, and through this project I have been allowed to fully express my feelings about it through the use of landscape images. In doing so, I have focused my attention on the places that I often admire and visit, these are natural environments located within Victoria, more commonly along the south coast.
