A HAZY WHISPER.
A Hazy Whisper is a photo book about daily life, deeply recording the details of my study and life abroad. During this journey, I was alone, facing the hustle and bustle of the city and loneliness, trying to find my own voice in the daily ordinariness. This photo book is not only a true reflection of my personal life, but also an emotional bridge between me and my parents far away in my hometown. I hope I can record my life for them to see, instead of their eyes to see the outside world, can be more understanding of the daily.
I chose to photograph in black-and-white because I feel that black-and-white images tend to convey deeper and more delicate emotions. By removing color, I hope to express the loneliness, longing, and complexity of life more directly. This style allows viewers to feel rich emotional levels in simplicity. In this process, I hope that the viewer can resonate with my experience and understand the tenacity behind loneliness and the love of life. Although life doesn’t always go smoothly, I’m still trying to find happiness and peace. I hope that A Hazy Whisper will make people think about their own lives and inspire them to find beauty and meaning in their daily lives.
Through these images, I hope to share my story with everyone, so that they can see their own shadows in my experiences and feel the deep and sincere emotions.
