DOMESTIC FETISH explores the interconnections of fetish identity and day-to-day life. This project challenges notions of fetish being confined to the limits of the bedroom, instead embracing ideas of ever present facets of queer identity and expression. Through the process of creating scenes of mundane life and inserting the fetish element, this series draws parallels to how kink and fetish are viewed within society versus how that aspect of identity is expressed by the individual.
Robert Crerar is an emerging photographer from Melbourne. His practice is based within queer fetish subculture and the authentic expression of identity and empowerment in both art and commercial practices.
