Mirror examines representations of the self and consciousness across temporal dimensions, questioning how a moving image installation can facilitate a dialogue between past and present versions of the self. The work employs a series of looping video sequences on multiple screens, creating a network of imagery and text that visualises this conversation. The imagery explores the materialisation of the internal landscape and how it can be represented through ordinary scenes. By engaging with these quotidian events, the installation seeks to evoke personal associations in the viewer, making the work an individual and personal experience each time, never the same.
