Quality Enhancement Team

The Quality Enhancement team works in collaboration with educational leaders and program teams to monitor, review and enhance programs and courses across DSC, and promote continuous quality improvements.

What we do

We work closely with disciplines to support program and course development and review activities and advise on the interpretation of policy and regulations. By working with quantitative and qualitative student and graduate feedback, Quality Enhancement helps program teams improve the student experience.

Our course and program enhancement activity helps establish quality processes across schools and contributes to RMIT wide alignment with the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency.

Quality Improvement

We provide individualised support to Program Managers for Comprehensive and Annual reviews including collation of evidence and assistance in interpreting learning and teaching data.
We offer custom visualisations and data reports to Deans, Associate Deans, Program Managers and Course Coordinators. Our activity includes program development and reviews; course and program enhancement activity; Canvas quality monitoring; survey data analysis; policy advice; as well as providing reports that promote continuous quality improvements.

We work in collaboration with the Centre for Academic Quality and Enhancement (CAQE) to provide an operational and strategic approach to addressing the Higher Education Standards Framework at RMIT.

We have expertise in:
Policy interpretation; TEQSA regulatory requirements; data analysis and visualisations; program design and development; student feedback data analysis; program reviews; and academic integrity.

Data analysis & reporting

We deliver customised reports for academic leaders and qualitative and quantitative data analysis and visualisations to Programs and Schools to facilitate planning.
The Quality Enhancement team provide quality capability development for academic staff to ensure awareness and understanding of our regulatory environment and requirements.

We work to support academic staff to understand and interpret course and program data, by providing the collation, analysis and evaluation of quality data to ensure continuous improvement.

We provide policy and standards interpretation for focus areas as WIL; assessment; orientation; student progression; academic integrity; and staff qualifications.

We create program level Power BI reports to visually present CES that allows you to view GTS and OSI means across courses, response data reliability and GTS breakdown per question.

We support program developments advising on policy requirements, program structures and ensuring timely submission of applications and relevant governance consideration.
