- Explore and experience Australian Indigenous culture by enrolling in Indigenous specialist courses, visiting Ngarara Willim Centre, and interacting with our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff and students.

- Visit Ngarara Place on the City Campus located behind Ngarara Willim Centre, or walk the Keelbundoora, a culturally significant site located on the Bundoora Campus. Find more information here.
- Find out more about Ngarara Willim Centre, RMIT’s Indigenous Student Support Centre. The Centre’s name means ‘gathering place’ in the Victorian Aboriginal language of Wurundjeri. The Centre is a gathering place for our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and staff. It is also a place for the university community to gain a better appreciation for Indigenous culture, business and knowledge.

Introducing DSC’s New Reconciliation Advisor: Cathy Doe
A proud Irukandji woman from Far North Queensland, comes to DSC directly from the Ngarara Willim Centre where she has been working as a Senior Advisor – Indigenous Access and Engagement. Prior to joining RMIT, Cathy was at Monash where she held senior roles in Indigenous admissions, strategy and communications and as a Manager of Indigenous Programs. Cathy is also currently undertaking a Bachelor of Arts in Peace Studies, is the Secretary of the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Higher Education Committee (NATSIHEC) and loves video games, cooking and swimming. Cathy is deeply committed to building relationships and supporting others in our collective journey to improve wellbeing outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
